The everyday heroes rockin’ our island
The Heroes in the Community Awards returned to the Empress Hotel on 10 November to recognise incredible local guys ‘n’ gals who do extraordinary things for the island’s community.
The awards also celebrated dedicated family members who have gone above and beyond for their relatives and youngsters who have shown true bravery in the face of adversity.
Hosted by Manx Radio’s Chris Kinley and Emma Blackburn, this year’s gala ceremony had a rock ‘n’ roll theme, complete with chequered dance floor and boppin’ live entertainment.
Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, other local companies and attendees, the event also raised more the £10,000 for Dream Catcher!
